School Holiday | 3 day trek | Rocks Views & Forest | Bibbulmun Track, Western Australia
Sorry July trek fully booked 16 – 18 July 2020
27 – 29 September 2020
These coming July schools distract your teenager from the screen/s and have them join us on an all inclusive 3 day introductory trek. All they have to bring is clothes, boots/shoes and enthusiasm, we do the rest. For the intro trek we have chosen a section close to Perth, only 10km first and second day, with a challenge on the third day to take a shortcut “using GPS, map and compass off track” to arrive back at the Discovery Centre car park. They will be camping out in a tent, preparing their own meals (after our pre-planning advice of course), learning independence and experiencing the fun and camaraderie of being with others their age. If you have your own suitable for winter trekking gear, hiring is optional.
Start date may be flexible pending weather forecast.
$350 per person
Start time: 10 am
Meeting place: Discovery Centre Car Park, Mundaring
This trek is suitable for the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
As this is a winter trek, it is essential that each participant was a waterproof jacket, down sleeping bag and a thermal jacket to wear around the campfire.
We recommend hiring our trek gear to ensure everyone is snug, dry and warm.
A full gear list will be send to you on booking.
You can also order dehydrated dinners from Simply Trekking but all other foods, snacks, breakfast and lunch must be provided by you.
Each campsite has rainwater tanks and you will require 2 1 litre water bottle to carry each day.
Campsites have a drop toilet with toilet paper and tables for our use.
New to hiking – these treks are carefully planned with breaks every hour, we will assist you with any concerns and are there for your safety and comfort.
