Teen 5 Day Darling Scarp Trek

Teen | 5 Day Trek | Bibbulmun Track, Western Australia
05-09 October 2020   Fully booked

This guided Duke of Edinburgh multi day exploration trek averages 10-12 kms per day giving lots of time to build the campfire each afternoon, relax and keep warm.

Our first day is pretty flat and Mt Dale Hut is set in a pretty forest position looking out onto Mt Dale. The next day we climb up onto the Darling Scarp to our destination Beraking campsite with great views over the Perth plains. Following the scarp we arrive at Waaleigh campsite with more views. Waaleigh has just had a renovation and is in a gorgeous setting. Helena Hut is our next night and to get there we have to walk down to the Helena River and back up again onto the Darling Scarp for views from the new rammed earth Helena Hut. From there the track winds up and down to arrive at Ball Creek and out to our finish at Discovery Centre.

There is phone coverage for most of the track and this trek is suitable for the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.
