A gorgeous short trek for the Teen who wishes to complete their Duke of Edinburgh International WA Bronze (Practice & Qualifying) or Practice or Qualifying section of the Silver Award. The Cape to Cape Track follows the coast from Cape Naturaliste along the beautiful Indian Ocean to Cape Leeuwin. We walk an average of 13km per day, 3 – 4 hours of walking.
Day One: Cape Naturaliste to Yallingup : We begin at Cape Naturaliste where we first visit the Lighthouse and then follow the boardwalk along the coast with incredible views to Sugarloaf Rock. From there the path is rough and follows the edge of the cliff tops with expansive views. As we get closer to Yallingup the track goes inland on a sandy 4wd track coming out at the top of Yallingup Beach.
Day Two: Canal Rocks to Moses Rock Campsite: We are picked up and transported to the start of the track at Canal Rocks and climb up to panoramic views over the ocean, then pass through the surfing mecca of Injidup where we can take in more views and watch the surfers whilst eating our lunch. Our campsite is at Moses Rock which is great for getting those sunset over the ocean photos.
Day Three: Moses Rock to Gracetown: Our last day we follow the coast with amazing ocean views to arrive at Gracetown.
