Description

Join Simply Trekking on the best of the Bibbulmun Track with stunning coastal views and walk up high in the big karri and tingle trees. Our trek starts on the beach at Peaceful Bay and climbs gently up to the headland with panoramic views over the southern ocean. We move inland through the coastal heath into the shade of the Valley of the Giants to arrive at the Tree Top Walk.  From there the track meanders next to the Frankland River and our hut for the night is nestled into the trees with decking extending to the rivers edge.  We descend to panoramic views of the Walpole inlet and camp overnight at a caravan park (yes flushing toilets & showers, towels available to hire and there is a shop). On our last day the track takes us east along the inlet, through Walpole town to gently climb Mt Clare then morning tea snack at Mt Clare hut amongst the tingle trees.  We descend steeply from Mt Clare under thick forest to the picturesque swing bridge over Deep River and Nuyts Wilderness carpark and transport to Walpole.
