South West 5 day trek Peaceful Bay, Valley of the Giants, Walpole, Deep River January

This section is voted the best of the Bibbulmun Track, we would say its because it goes from the coast at Peaceful Bay, climbs to Rame Head with amzaing ocean views, along the coast then inland to the Valley of the Giants, meanders beside the picturesque Frankland River, back to the coast with views over Nornalup Inlet, through Walpole town and up Mt Clare to finish at Deep River.  Yes 5 challenging days that were enjoyed by all.

1000km - 51 walking days - Bibbulmun Track - 2020 North to South, 2021 South to North

2020 and 2021 being somewhat unusual years with Covid, Marie, owner & operator of Simply Trekking found she could not hike in the Swiss Alps or Himalayas as planned, instead she decided walking the whole of the 1000km of the Bibbulmun Track would be a really lovely alternative.  North to South 2020 and South to North 2021 . Starting mid winter “I didn’t know walking in the coldest and wettest time of the year could be so beautiful”. A trekking umbrella has become the game changer to love walking in the rain.
