Booking, Cancellation, Transfer & Refund Conditions

Please read our Terms & Conditions below before you book…

Day walks and day hikes

100% cost is paid on booking.

Notice of cancellations must be in writing, with an email as an acceptable form of communication, directly to Simply Trekking with the following conditions:

  • No shows or cancellations within 48 hours of trek departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations received within 5 days prior to departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations received 5 days + prior to departure can have a full refund or credit towards another event.

 

Transfers:  Family day walks are weather dependent and therefore transferable to another date or can be transferred to a friend/ family member/family with no penalty.  You must advise in writing 48 hours prior to trek by phone and followed up with email on that same day so Simply Trekking can provide confirmation information to the new individual/family.

Family overnight hikes

100% cost is paid on booking.

Notice of cancellations must be in writing, with an email as an acceptable form of communication, directly to Simply Trekking with the following conditions:

  • No shows or cancellations within 48 hours of trek departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations received within 5 days prior to departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations received 5 days + prior to departure can have a full refund (less 3.5% booking fee) or full credit (to save the loss of 3.5% booking fee) towards another overnight hike.

3 Day Teen Treks

100% cost is paid on booking.

Notice of cancellations must be in writing, with an email as an acceptable form of communication, directly to Simply Trekking with the following conditions:

  • No shows or cancellations within 48 hours of trek departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations received within 7 days prior to departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations received 8 days + prior to departure can have a full refund (less 3.5% booking fee) or full credit towards another trek.

Should the trek not go ahead because it doesn’t meet minimum of trekkers, bookings will receive a full refund or preferably (to save the loss of 3.5% on the booking fee) transfer the booking to the next suitable trek.

5 and 7 Day Teen Treks

Deposit is paid on booking.   Balance is due 3 weeks prior to date of trek (to pay balance, click through to your account that was set up at time of booking – a reminder will not be sent)

This website is owned by Mariham Pty Ltd trading as Simply Trekking (ABN 23 137 308 644) herein after referred to as “Simply Trekking”, unless otherwise specified.  Use of this website is subject to the following Terms & Conditions and applies to any booking made through the website or through direct contact with Simply Trekking. In these booking terms and conditions, “you” and “your” means all persons named on the booking (including anyone who is added or substituted at a later date).  “we”, “us” and our” means Simply Trekking.  “Service Provider/s” means Third Party.
